I am new at this. I have a echo chainsaw cs400 that came with a 6 teeth sprocket, just bought a 7 teeth off ebay, seller stating it will fit a cs400. I have chain .325 050
My question, is it going to work?

I don't know Echo saws. You may find helpful data here: (broken link removed to http://www.oregonproducts.com/pro/lookups/selguide.aspx?BusId=OCS&SellReg=USA&LangId=ENG)
Input Echo, CS-400, bar length

Your CS-400 might not pull a 7 pin very well compared to a 6 pin. Any particular reason that you wanted more teeth?
