Econoburn 100- Running Bassackwards???

Cleaned heat exchangers/turbulators with two different boiler brushes by removing the top access panel. Put Eco back together and started first fire of the year. Power up Eco and set digital aquastat to desired temp. Fan will only run when desired temp. is set BELOW actual boiler temp. ??? Raise desired temp. above actual boiler temp. fan shuts off ??? No electrical connections were disconnected when tearing into the cleaning.

Possible culprits---pins on relays moved?? (Enclosure panels must be removed to access HE tubes--moved/bumped)
---setup on digital aquastat screwed up
---?????

Called Dale @ Econoburn Sat.-awaiting callback. Any obvious solutions??

Changed out digital aquastat with no change--fan runs when desired temp. is set below actual boiler temp????? Any takers on this??!!

On my 150 there is a 2 speed fan and it's the high aquastat that controls shutting it off completely. When the boiler reaches that high setpoint, the fan shuts off. But if the boiler temp drops to the low setpoint on the front digital display, the fan goes to the second, higher speed. I think your 100 has a one speed fan, but I'm not sure about that. Is the fan shutoff driven by the front digital setpoint or is there a high aquastat on your 100 also? I'm just speculating, but perhaps your boiler is functioning ok.

Correct, one speed fan. Fan shutoff is driven by aquastat. When fired up Fri. boiler ran till it overtemped/alarmed-fan was off. Pulled on all wires on the "brain" looking for loose conection-none. Looks like I have power everwhere except across high aquastat terminals-tried jumping across terminals-no sparky. Honeywell motorized "dump" zone valve/normally open has power to it. It is located above the aquastat. When I turn off pwr supply to the boiler the HW valve is de-energized/open for the dump zone, turn pwr supply back on the valve is energized closed. ?????

Have no fear you may only have to check all the hidden settings of your controller , all 22 of them . Once they get out of wack all kind of strange things can happen . My first month of operation I became obsessed with the Ecnoburn and of course messed around to much with the controller . I had to call Dale to bale me out . Dale helped me reprogram the controller over the phone .

Went through the settings with the old digital aqua and the new aqua with Dale--awaiting new parts.......

Dale and I were stumped by a real no brainier , when the 5 amp resettable fuse on the front control panel tripped . The button did not look tripped to me but it was , the controller still worked but there was no power to the relays . I reset the fuse and lived happily ever after . My dump-zone setup did not seem to work properly with the Ecnoburn circuitry , some day I will try to figure it out .

Good news---will go into detail in a couple of days---currently recovering from Strep throat --feel like the weather--CRAPPY.....!

Talked to Dale - he overnighted a new PLC/"brain"-all is well. What a difference dry wood makes. Gasification is so much easier and quicker, way different this year.....

Again, factory support after the sale has been second to none regarding anything to do with their product.
