Energex Golden pellet question

Anyone here burned these for a season or 2?
reason I ask is they seemed to be lot more Ashy this year with some big Ash cakes and much darker
ash color also.....These we're always a super Premium pellet but a bit disappointed this year with them.
Energex main web site is Not showing them which is unusual....only show Regular Hardwood [US] and
Canadian Softwood Blend..

Could drop them a line and find out. Possible source material difficult to get? Hardwood so wondering if they are working with a flooring or cabinetry company...
