Installed with dura vent chimney following there instructions. Pipe from stove is 36" vertical and the a 90 degree and a horizontal run of 40" to chimney. The top of chimney is above roof peak.
I have a great deal of difficulty getting a good fire without cracking door open any suggestions.

Chimney is 24 inches above peak of roof

So is the peak of your roof 12ft above ground or 20?

Most firewood wisdom states that wood does not really season until it is split, some will argue with standing dead wood as an example, but using this rule of thumb, you are basically dealing with 6 mo. seasoned wood. Just say'in.

By process of elimination, get some of that expensive wood that they sell at grocery stores and gas stations. Try burning that. If you have no problems with your stove then you know your problem is your wood. Six months split is normally not enough.
