Englander 30NC sale...$519!

I just happened to click a link that someone posted in an older thread to the Durango Colo HD store for the Englander 30NC stove...my local store is normally $899, the Durango store has been at $649 on 'em for quite some time now...but today it showed $519 for the 13 or the 30! Another $99 shipped to your door...man that is a lot of wood stove for the money! Just a heads up for anybody interested

I gave some serious thought about actually getting one at this price ( I mean another one) just to store it away for a future garage I want to build.

But somehow when I ran that idea across the wife, the whole thing kinda came to a screeching halt.

If the price went down more at the store you bought it from, take the reciept in and they'll probably refund the difference.

"Probably" because that policy doesn't apply to clearance merchandise. Easy enough to call the store and ask, though.

What kind of burn times do people get with the 30?

Depends on the house, outside temps, wood species and operator. Typically with a 3 cu ft stove one can get 8-12 hr burn times. But try heating a cold barn or a frigid cabin up from 30F and burn times could be half that.
