Anyone that has installed an Englander13nc and simpson double wall flue pipe, did you have to use a stove collar adaptor or did the pipe fit on the collar without one?

I am using double wall simpson pipe. The collar is 6" and so is the inner pipe that slides down into the collar. Simson makes an adaptor which will reduce the pipe to 5 5/8 but that will make it 3/8ths to small. I have tried forcing it in but so far its no go. Do I just need to get rougher with it to get it to go in or will I need a reducer?

I wouldn't think you would need a reducer but I would call tech support at Simpson.
