So the burn pot liner has a spot in the bottom that started to warp and now has small cracks. I got the stove last fall so this is my second season burning. Anyone else have this problem. I am wondering if the pellets are burning too hot or something. Photos below. May be hard to see.

Im gonna have to check in a warranty replacement.

I don't see the crack(s) but do see the spot. It looks like a MFG defect. Is the liner Cast or Sheet steel.
IIRC Mine was sheet
You could fill weld it, re-drill the holes and see what happens.

Mine used to warp along the sealing edge (Between the liner and the burn pot).
I used to beat it back into shape.

Good Luck,

They are hard to see but replacement at this time isn't necessary or justified. The burn pot is still in-tact and functional. Mine cracked into the 2nd year but 4 years in now the crack hasn't opened up and is thus not effecting stove performance or safety.

We all have different tolerances for defects and it's probably worth looking into replacing it while you're still in warranty but if it's not covered, I wouldn't worry about it.

Had my stove an Envro for 12 years liner cracked in the second year
I am still using the same liner and will till it breaks apart or the cracks open up
As long as it's working use it

Thanks for the replies. The cracks are small at the point. Its obviously functioning fine but since it deformed upwards at the bottom of the liner, it makes it a bit harder to scrape clean.

I guess for now i will keep an eye on it through the winter and in spring i will have a buddy of mine make me a new one. Maybe i can get a bit better stainless to make it with.

Well i was going through a burn pot per year and cost way too much. Bought some perforated stainless sheet of amazon and started making burn pot liner liners. Working well as the new base liner burns out and the original liner hasn’t deteriorated any further.

I went with 304 stainless. Probably could've went bigger with the holes. At first I lined the whole bottom of the liner. The small holes starved the fire a bit. I ended up still using this material but now I just cut a small square to cover the area that gets damaged in the liner. The 304 holds up well. I replace the small piece a few times a season. Much cheaper than replacing the entire liner.
