When looking thru stove specs how useful is this data point from the epa? Does it reflect in the real world? If you run a stove at the lower end and it was given a value of 12 000 to 36 000 would another stove given similar values be expected to run with the same output? Obviously same set up and wood supply. Thanks for any input.

Thought I should add where I'm looking at this. Looking at stove manuals it states a high and low heating value efficiency as a per cent and then it states epa btu output 3. I've seen it in all the manuals I've looked at so far.
