It's a special time when the sun is almost down and the winds stop - the colors really come out and change quickly.

My boat is the little one with three hulls in the far left of the pic.

I love being by water. River, Lake, Ocean - it doesn't really matter to me. The sights, sounds and smells. The wild life. The tranquility. The raw beauty. Absolutely love it.

I got the waterproof action cam I'll be installing today - maybe get a pic of the action!
So far, our top speed is 15.2 knots, which is pretty good for a small sailboat. That's almost fast enough to water ski.....

Tri's don't use ballast.
It's all about counterweight in this case! As long as you can lay out on the tramps and nurse a beer, you are golden. Speaking of that, drinks are less likely to spill on these boat.

Tri sailors call the regular monohulls "lead sleds".

Each big beer you drink has about an extra pound...as long as you don't sweat too much or pee through the tramps that should help keep the boat flat. I guess a Jags custom model would have a keg on each float and pipe the beer back and forth depending on which way the tack was.

Jake - looks like your boat sprung a couple of leaks. Might wanna look into getting that fixed.
