I purchased a new blower motor for an older Harman Accentra Insert. When removing the old motor, I could not remove the fan within the Flue Box, (the one attached to the drive with a set screw), as the fan is too large to remove thru the opening. I am being very cautious in not attempting to remove the side of the flue box on which the exhaust motor is attached, as the installer manual specifically references how the very close fit between the side and the motor is needed to prevent escaping fines, until, I get a better understanding of how to do it either from Harman or from the knowledgeable people here. An additional problem arose as the 5/16" bolt/nut on the rear of the flue box broke off when I attempted to see if I could gain access that way. BTW: The fan inside the flue box is a 4 3/4", single paddle. Any assistance anyone may be able to provide is greatly appreciated!!!
