We have an old Fabco insert in our fireplace that needs to be removed. First, where in/on it might I find some identifying information about the model. And second, are these able to be slid out or are they attached to the fireplace interior in some manner? This insert has solid double doors and vents on each side for heat. It has electric fans. Given its age, there is a good chance that it is just in place with no connection. Try moving it out and see what happens.
