Nah . . . I sometimes use an ax for interior firefighting . . . but if I'm doing any wildland firefighting my choice of tools would either be a chainsaw or pulaski . . . and in either case I certainly will not be wearing a get up like that to hump it into the fire . . . I'm either riding in or carrying it in my hand.
