After Mike described it as a "beer can", I thought it would be more round than it is. Still a nice looking stove IMO.

I love it! Too bad I just (today!) took delivery of a 55-trpah.

imacman, I noticed the 80-lb hopper as well. I am surprised that larger hoppers like that aren't the standard. This will be my first year heating with pellets so I don't have much to base this on, but th 120-lb hopper was one of the things that drew me to the 55-trpah. I can't fathom operating a stove with a hopper that only holds one bag!

Very modern unit.

Lots of updates. Would love to see one in person to look over the entire unit.

I would like to see the Pot and heat exchange system.

Does it use a pot like the PAH? An exchanger like the EP? An ignitor like the CPM? (Things I would take from each stove).

I do like the looks. It comes with Round side panels or Flat side panels. "like".

It has a parts diagram, I suppose you could compare the looks and part numbers to the stoves you mentioned to see if they did steal from those models.

It has somewhat of a plain jane , utilitarian look to me, and I`m not sure I like the perforation designs (far too many punched holes) in the sheet metal. It also looks like it might be prone to denting .
These modernistic european designs usually beg for some stainless or colored panels .
All that aside, it might be a big hit for others and I do commend Englanders for not standing still , not content to rest on their laurels. They know they have to keep up with current designs and produce what buyers want.
Hopefully Mike Holten will provide us with a look at the interior?

OK, the specs say it burns on low at 14K BTU with Max burn time (assuming set on low) is 38 hrs. ( 80 lb hopper)?
The P38 burns on low at 8.5K and I can get 38 hrs on low using 40 lbs.
This is sending up a red flag to me since I burn low on the shoulder season .
Am I`m missing something ?

i might be able to arrange that, cant today dont have my camera with me but i'll make a point to bring it in and shoot the one we have burning back in the plant

Not out of line necessarily but it indicates to me that at 14K BTU on low setting the stove will burn more pellets during the shoulder seasons (obviously more heat too) and probably not optimally suited to my low burning .
Again only my preference for a stove that burns less on the low end .

5 min later post: Thinking about this more , if I had a stove with auto ignition that automatically started and stopped on a thermostat I wouldn`t have to worry about running it constantly on low during the shoulder seasons. I really should think about upgrading what I have I guess.

I think Mike said they were gonna be order only. Dont know if its for good? Or this season only?

As for the combustion blower. They have stuck to the same guidelines for all there stoves. (At least all I have seen). I took out my 17 yr old PDV and put in a Spankin new CPM. All are 16", er, is it 18"? Dammit.
