Hello, I have an older Superior fireplace that has never been installed and never used. It is in very good condition, so I would still like to use it to avoid buying a new one, but it appears to be from 2002. Can you help me find the double wall piping that would fit it properly, or an adpater that would allow me to use currently avilable piping with it?

It is Model: BR-36, Serial Number: 6402J00496. The label says the manufacture date is "09 02", which I assume means Sept of 2002. I'm attaching some photos

What does the manual spec out for the chimney pipe requirements? It should list acceptable options. I think this takes FT8 pipe, but not sure. Give woodstovepro.com a call once the pipe requirement is determined. 1-888-418-0005

You were correct about FTF8, but I only see FTF8 piping listed in the installation manual. I don't see an alternative mentioned.
I may have another issue, which is that there is no outer ring on the firebox, only an inner ring, and in the manual you can see there is an outer ring also, but I don't see that part actually mentioned in the manual, so I'm not sure how to locate that part, but maybe woodstovepro.com can help.

Here are some photos from the manual, which shows the piping and you can also see that there should be an outer ring on top of the firebox for the piping to attach to, but I only have one inner ring and no outer ring on mine

The older style may be air-cooled in which case, that's all that can be used unless alternatives are listed in the manual.
