Fire brick in HI300... factory or standard issue?

In the past I have had to replace some of the back and side wall fire bricks. I did this with some standard tsc bricks which are more dense and heavier. I say the factory bricks are lighter for shipping reasons. Others say they are better insulators and you could harm you stove by running standard fire brick... What do the experts think?
 
I'm not an expert, but my local dealer said to replace a broken one with a standard brick.
