Fire brick question

Was concenred about the spacing of my fire bricks. Based on the picture below is there too much space between the one in back left?

just slide it over? Doesn't look fastened or anything,,,

I don't think I would be comfortable with that much space between bricks. But, the brick on the right looks equal in size to the one on the left. Looks as though the brick on the left has been nudged over toward the left giving a space next to your center whereas your right brick is nudged left opening the space on the right. Can you simply nudge the right brick over a bit?

It appears that I can adjust them so I will when the stove cools.
