Fire pit

I will be moving soon. I have 8 bags of pellets. I have tried to sell them on my local FB groups for $5 a bag. No one is biting. Can I use these for a fire pit and have my kids roast marshmallows or do the pellets give off some sort of toxic fumes or what not that regular tree wood doesn't.
Or what other uses can I have for these pellets.
I also have atleast one pellet stove I need to sell.

They make pellet smokers that use the same pellets as the home heaters so as far as I know its OK.

I would not chance it with food. Some pellets are nasty, with plenty of leftover chemicals from the woods factory life.

I would just make a nice fire out of them and enjoy the show.

Having said all this, what pellet brand are they? And what stove brand/model do you have?

3 North Americans. 2 green team ( white bag). 3 premium hardwood in white bags from tractor supply.
Stoves I have a englander pdvc and enviro 2 ( ef2).
I know I won't get much for either and probably should leave one in this falling apart house to make the bank happy.

Five dollars a bag Is kind of steep, If you want to get rid of them you should lower your price.

I have been watching some YouTube videos and reviews seem good from Amazon. Looks cool.
Have you tried those pellet logs in it? Can't seem to find any of those around my area though.

No Pellet logs will not work in it, just pellets is all you need and in 2 mins you can start roasting Marshmellows!

Ok. I was asking because I saw a YouTube video where someone using the logs after they got it started.
