What’s a Loc
When I installed the fire stop I caulked between the fire stop and the piping with a fire stop caulking. Was I not supposed to do that? The reason I'm asking is I now have to replace the flange on top of the fire box and I'll have to cut out dry wall in order to get to the caulking and cut it out to raise the pipe. The pictures below are before I installed it and caulked it. Thanks for the help.

I'm not sure caulk is required there, but if anything is used it should be silicone.
