Was trying to hold off another week or so but,... Listening to the gas furnace run the last few days finally got to me.
Fired the beast tonight for the first time this season!
36 deg. Outside, started at about 50 deg. Tank temp., been running for about 2-1/2 hrs. Now and creeping up on 120 on the tank temp.

Call me weird if you will... I think I missed the routine more than anything.
I know I am not the only one in this forum that has been itching to put their wood boiler back in operation!
