Last night I was at a discount store that has books. Well....I bought a copy of "The Backyard Lumberjack. Originally 27 dollars....marked down to 6.99. Kinda like this site in print. Exsplains harverting firewood from standing to stove with everything in between.
Anyone here ever read it?

I read it. That is an excellent book by a father and son out of western Massachusetts. Good info, well written, entertaining. Nice score.

I read it as well.A good read....made me want to get into Timbersports.

I borrowed a copy from the library and enjoyed it,was nice to see a Father and Son that shared a common interest.By the way the Author's do all their splitting by hand.
