Nice looking stove you have there I fired mine up on Friday and again yesterday, and now today. The Blazers I bought are burning way hot with little ash. How are those cubex burning for you so far!View attachment 163024 She's 10 years old but still getting the job done
Fired up one of the Ashford 30's last night. Would have waited until the end of the month, as usual, if it weren't a new stove. We're seeing 48-52F overnights, 60F days, with constant rain the last week. Good opportunity to bake out the fresh paint, with some windows open, but now that it's going I might just keep it lit.
Switching second Ashford 30 from single to double wall pipe this week, so that one won't be fired until then.
I'm running two Blaze King Ashford 30's.

Those aren't alcoves... those are my fireplaces! The floor has been raised on the fireplace containing Stove 2, which is why the lintel appears lower than true "walk-in" height. These are old cooking fireplaces, dating to ca.1773.Holy crap and there are doors to the alcoves too! Sweet!
