I had my break in fire today in my new Lopi Revere insert. Everything went off without a hitch. The burn off odor wasn't all that bad. Cranked her up to 450 degrees. Should I have went higher? That was at 2 P.M. and it is still to hot to touch and it is almost 8 P.M. All in all I'm a happy man!

Nice. Congrats on the Lopi. You gotta post pics of first fires, especially on a new girl.

Sounds good happy man. Next cool night, take her up to about 600 on the stove top to finally bake in the paint, but it seems like you are good to go for the heating season.

We'll try to send some cool air your way.

Congratulations.
