Already lit a burn of just kindling. been lower 40s here in the mountains of NC. Didnt really need to coulda just turned up the monitor or furnace but it s not as much fun or relaxing

I think its already here....low 40’s to high 30’s tonight, according to the weather man. My liner kit should be here tomorrow and go in this weekend if the rain holds off. Im hoping for my first fire ever this weekend. I cant wait!

Looks nice. I just finished some cultured stone and still need to do the mantel, but it came out great. I'll try to post pics this evening.Hurricane said:I went out last night to put the garbage out at the street and smelled someone else burning so I came in and fired the insert up for a small break in fire. I just finished replacing the entire brick set, and kaowool pad, good cleaning of the chimney and entire stove. It was ready and so was my 9 year old son. I put one load in and the stove top went just above 525 degrees then I let it cool down which took hours and warmed the whole house. All of the family loved to have the stove going again.
