Had a great first burn. Everything worked great no leaks.

We did set off the smoke detectors a few times "curing" the paint. After a few good hours of good burning we cranked it up and easily brought the house to 85 when it was 32 outside. Can't wait for winter!

You play the bag pipes?

Nope. Not me... I have none

EDIT: My smart phone ain't that smart.

Ah. Gotcha. No its my redwings cap and hammers and tape measure and tin snips etc... I had just hooked it up and not yet picked up my mess.

Yeah for sure. I was gonna ask if the stove was on in the second pic.

The cats are going to love you this winter. Mine is already parking itself under the cold stove on cool days, hint hint.

Nice stove ! I have the Austral ( I think it is the same stove / firebox, just dressed somewhat diffrently) and I think they are good stove for the price, and they can really crank up the heat !

thanks... I am anxious for some cold weather to really get to test this thing out... I know I know. its coming! ;)

Kind of a "where's Waldo"? Anyone notice the dog? nice setup btw...great location.

now thats a great stove setup! right in the middle of living area i think thats the best way to distribute the heat around.

thanks. yeah, when looking at the house when we were buying it and the property I was very excited about that. very very efficient heating location. right in the middle of everything. it stays about 5-10 degrees cooler (atleast when its in the 30's outside) in the bedrooms. which is perfect. id rather it be 60-65 when sleeping.

The Austral was my first choice over the 30, but I couldn't find it anywhere online for a decent price. I think Menard's is still showing it out of stock. I like the baffle design and the bypass would've been great to have.

I was about the get the 30 until I found this one at menards. I had to order it online, and it took about 2 weeks to get to the store (showed up about 4 days early though)...

My daughters boyfriend is from Wasillia....should I be concerned?
