It's like a disease in the fall we can't wait until we can crank that stove, but hit late jan early feb we are bitching about the cold.I replaced my stove last month..... can't wait to fire it up. I don't think anyone in my house knows how bad I want to try this puppy out. 59 out yesterday morning and the wife was at work. I was close, but had errands to run and couldn't hang out long enough for a test run. Soon enough I will be crying about the cold, I work nights on a dock!

we don't need the heat yet, but i unplugged the vent and the OAK and have done a few short test runs to get everything set.
burning for a few minutes right now just to keep everything dry.
. I will hold firm on the house stat MUST stay above 59* before ANY heat goes on with my wife. Right now it reads 68* so I am covered.
She'll be like, " We'll last year remember when you fired it up in the beginning of Sept." I can hear that one already..........
