Hello
Just had a mishap and the almost new speaker fell the wrong way. The Banana jack on the back of the Dual LU53PW speaker broke!

So final cost was $12 for the banana jack plate but if you wanted a lower budget and easier fix, just drill a hole under the banana jacks on the speaker and bypass the jacks and just run a wire thru the hole and tape it to the ones inside.

Has anyone else done this??

Pic 2 - broken black negative banana jack connector.
Pic 3 - Gently pry off grill starting in upper right corner using a pick probe
Pic 4 - Remove 6 Phillip head screws and remove from speaker mounting panel with speakers atteched
Pic 5 - Remove nut that holds old banana jack
Pic 6 - cut black potting compound to remove connector wire and lug
Pic 7-8 Remove lug and desolder wire from it.
