I have a USSC 6039 and doesn’t seem to be putting out much heat. Only keeping my basement at about 70. Not a full basement, first floor only about 60. My flame doesn’t seem big enough. Maybe an inch above the fire pot but under the auger. Should it be higher? The flame looks good. FAK hooked up. Freeze plug in holes behind “brick”. The flame dance nice, just feel like it could definitely be throwing more heat. My house is only about 1300 square ft but barely keeps the basement at 70. Any tips on feed rates and air rates?!

Do you have a thermometer on your stove or on the stove pipe? Is the basement insulated? Welcome. Lot's of great folks here will get you pointed in the right direction.

I had a thermostat hooked up but disconnected it seeing if maybe that was a problem. I had it set to 80 and still wouldn’t get past 75. It’s not insulated. And it’s maybe only 300sq ft. If that.

This is a pellet stove. You'll get better help if @begreen moves this thread to The Pellet Mill. My guess is that the BTU's needed are greater than the BTU's produced with the current weather...
