Flue pipe length

I'm wanting to put a wood burner in my basement and run double wall pipe to the peak of my roof. It will be a total of 34 foot long. Is that too long?

There are people on these forums with long flues, but why do you want it in the basement?

That's a long flue run. It will most likely require a key damper to restrict draft.

It is an add on furnace. Need to pipe in to my supply so I wanted it close to the furnace
