My current set up

20 feet double wall with a slip at 15 to 20 feet
45 elbow
3 foot slip
45 elbow
Ceiling box
15 feet of chimney
No way to clean from inside wood stove.

My problem: too much draft, I cannot slow the flames with primary damper and burn times are short.

My thought to solve

Add damper 3 feet off stove
Add tee above damper so I do not need to haul out scaffold everytime i need to sweep chimney. The roof is a 24/12 pitch.

What is everyone seems thoughts.

I think a damper is a good idea. Why can’t you clean from inside the stove?

I contacted the manufacturer and they said the internal baffle is not removable.

I will take a photo of the fire box today and post. Possibly another way.
