Driving around town today I saw a small dumpster at local pallet company full of wood blocks with a sign "$40 for a cube". Turns out the cube is a whole dumpster. I asked one of the yard workers and he told me it's all hardwood. I will investigate tomorow. [Hearth.com] Found a new source of fire wood
 
Wow. Looks like a fair amount. Maybe pretty dried out too.
 
I think it's about half a cord if not more. It has to be fairly dry because that what they use to make wood pallets.
