I have a WHS-2000, circa 2008, and it is time to replace the anode rods. Unfortunately (for me), I failed to provide access to these when I built the platform over the top of my unit, and I now need to drill through the platform to access the rods. Would anyone be able to give me an approximate location for both rods, referenced from either the manhole (I did provide access to that!), or the front edge of the tank?
I have called / emailed GARN, no response. I also have not found the location marked on any of the drawings I have, or can find, for the unit. I am hoping that: a) the locations are standard, at least on the same models/vintage; b) someone will be able to take a quick measurement on their WHS-2000, or about the same vintage, for me.
The last resort will be to hang upside down in the manhole and attempt to measure from within the tank. If it comes to that, I'll record the measurements here ...
Thanks in advance!
Tom
