My third full season with my Dauntless. The stove stills seems to be airtight. When should I be concerned about the door, ash pan, flue and top lid gaskets?

When there are signs of air leakage past the gaskets. This could show up as uneven burning, darkening of the glass, shorter burn times. Watch for fraying of the gaskets. The dollar bill test is useful on door gaskets.

Most of the gaskets are super easy to replace. I do mine BEFORE an issue. I look at it like car or machine maintenance. Better to to it periodically. So I'd do my door grass gaskets say after the 3rd burning season, because the door glass gaskets are thin and take a beating when the coals pile up.. especially at the bottom of the glass. This is just me and how I do my stove, this not how everyone thinks.
