i almost jumped on MWP's for shoulder at 225 and cubex at 235 and then everything jumped in price (aka, i waited too long), so i just shrugged it off and never picked anything up.

randomly checking today i see that BT has potomacs at 215 :) These weren't even available before. Glad I waited/slacked :)

loved these last year. only burned 10 bags at the end of the season. IMO, they are at LEAST as good as cubex IMO. I'd put them between cubex and oakies if i had to rate overall w/ price in mind.

That should stock me up for this year.

now, to find 800 bucks :D

Ive never heard of the potomacs. Are they a hardwood pellet? Ive burned the cubex for the past few seasons.

Nice. You cant beat that deal. Good find. Thanks for the link.

Bt has a depot 1/2 mile from my house, with the 2 ton's of Somerset's i got when lowe's was $188 i should get a ton of these, have these been burn tested?
Also did a search on them and read alot of complaint's about wood chunks and lot's of fines, there cheap for a reason.......

I haven't burned somerset's so i can't help you there...

4 tons of Potomacs are offically en route per moi :)

$917 delivered for 4 tons. should take care of 95% of my winter heating costs.

I had a few 'toothpicks' in last years bags too. I certainly wouldn't call them wood chips by any means. Nothing serious or to be worried about IMO. No issues in my stove. My auger has a 'blade' on it that will cut longs/etc to fit as it turns. I had no jams at all out of the 10 bags i put through the stove. never bothered to soft through it or anything.

Never had a Auger jam either, I'm sure your auger is the same as the whitfield, problem is mines wearing a deep groove in the bottom from years and ton's and ton's of use.
I might get a ton this sat as BT is open 2 times a month in Suffield

And they are here :)

spent most of the afternoon stacking these into my basement with my old man.

I'm pooped. and it almost killed my dad. lol

$917 delivered. should heat me for 95% of my heating needs for this season. (oil for the other 5% for my hot water boiler)

only 2 or 3 minor ripped bags, and 1 had a hole and a wet spot. 95% of the bag seems ok though, just a mush hard corner.

I'll see about trading that bag in in the fall. It very well may just dry up between now and then, and i marked it with a piece of duct tape on the whole.

Looking through the clear portions, i didn't notice any 'toothpicks' like last years batch had. Should be a good burn for me. I highly recommend these for their price. Looks like they just went up another ten bucks to 225 a ton at bt.

1.3 tons in your LIVINGROOM!!! Man, that's a hoot! :)

Just to let know, you should not put that much weight on the living floor unless it's concrete. Wood joist floors are about 35 pounds per square foot.

yes, that floor is ground-level and is 'foundation'. no worries there.
