Are there any tips for replacing the log set with glass beads? I was looking on line, beads are about 30 to 50.

Check to see if that is even an option. My experience from shopping for a fireplace recently is that the burners differ depending on if you have the traditional wood or an alternative media (glass, rocks, etc). Check your owners manual. If you can do it, it will tell you how to arrange them to ensure the fireplace works properly.

Are the glass beads APPROVED for use in your unit?
If not, I wouldn't do what you are intending.

Good advice, I'll leave it alone
