because tomorrow morning I am having a brand new entire central air system installed. It's needed to be replaced essentially since I moved into the house about 4 years ago but I kept having it patched up when something went wrong. Well this time, when the auxiliary heat clicked off, the air from the register went stone cold. Luckilly I've had my stove to keep me warm in the interim, but without it, I would be up the proverbial creek.... or just really cold lol.

The way I feel with a winter power outage. Stay warm.

It HAS happened before, but it usually takes a LOT to take out my power. I've seen torrential storms, heavy snow etc and 9 times out of 10, it wont go out. It didn't go out at all when we got 13" of snow dumped on us a few weeks ago. But yeah, definitely one of the wisest investments I have ever made.
