My Auger is turning, Hopper is full. All fans working, all doors closed. I don't hear pellets falling. What's the problem???

Hello
I have seen that happen in a Harmam with wood pellets in the hopper that were so bad they clumped together creating enormous air pockets so no pellets went through the auger. I call them Bee Hive pellets so check for air pockets in your hopper!
See pic below, click to Enlarge

Also I have seen a piece of plastic and leaves cover the opening over the auger chute in the bottom of the hopper so no pellets were dropping into the auger. Bail out the pellets and check.

I evacuated the hopper and believe it was a extra long pellet jamming the slide plate. All seems to be corrected. Thanks Don for the quick response.

Welcome :-)

Harmans do not like long pellets

Depending on the pellets, they may be forming a "bridge" over the auger flight ... generates a pellet-free void. Trebios did this in my stove and the solution was a piece of doweling and giving a stir to the pellets above the auger. You can visually see the pellets settle farther down in the hopper. Cheap and painless solution once you figure out what is going on...
