Looking at P68, Wife pushed for Allure 50, lol. How adjustable is this stove other than setting temp and fan speed. Is there any feed rate settings? Any recommendations for use and care? THANKS

yes you can adjust feed rate and fan speeds but honestly the stove does such a good job of automating itself I really find no need to mess with settings. Mine is my primary heat running on room temp, it's set at 72 deg. and rarely gets changed, other then filling the hopper when needed ( 2 - 3 days ) and a once a month cleaning I just let the stove do it's thing.

And it’s pretty too!

The Allure 50 Control Panel is very colorful and has a lot of screens to play around with.
The 2 distribution blowers must belt out some heat too! The new attractive European modern design makes it the very best in the new competition!
The P68 has been the solid bullet proof high heating stove for many years and will outlast me. So it is a very tough choice.
My answer is get both! LOL
The allure for the livingroom for show and the p68 for the basement or man cave. Problem solved!!!
We have a P61 in the basement and a Heat & Glo propane fire place for the livingroom to hang the Xmass stockings on. :) There was a window there we had to remove because no other place to put a fireplace and TV.
The Harman P61 cost me$1200 used but it was golden fire brown in color and no hopper extension. So I got an extension for approx$90 and then some cleaning & painting with Stove Bright Satin Black spray paint. Good as new?
Where to put it was the hard part, because location is key to overall heating the house!
We just walled in the boiler room and put a 6” stainless steel vent pipe for the boiler up thru my sons closet and thru the roof in the attic. Then dropped a Stainless Steel flex liner down the chimney using Selkirk Masonry conversion kit to bring in warm fresh burn air around the liner for the fire pot for the best efficiency.
We built a raised heated hearth with a mantel and rope light. Then added a modern fire door and scenic beach tile. We also added an on demand hot water panel we can switch over too in case the oil gets costly for good measure.
