My accentra is five years old, other than a past ignition problem it runs trouble free, until this year. Since starting it this fall it has developed a loud hum and a definite vibration. The noise and vibration begin when the combustion blower comes on with start up ( the red light is on for the combustion-blower). Today I checked the fins on the fan and they are not bent and the area is clean. Could I need a new combustion motor? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Could be a bearing going out.

Someone may chime in as to if the fan may be oiled or the unit needs to be replaced. Fan replacement may be available from Graingers or other sources for a savings. If you take it out and take some pics others may get you some good advice as to repair or replace. Good luck
