Harman installation questions

We are thinking about getting a Harman 52i pellet stove insert for our fireplace. I looked over the installation manual and it looks fairly simple and straightforward. But i did have a couple of questions.
Does anyone know if it voids the warranty to do a self install?
A couple of the images in the manual looks like it has an air intake and and exhaust pipe. does it have two?

re warranty - you would be OK, your issues would be with the install and the local authorities, and your insurance.

I had not really considered that but could you expand on the authorities and insurance? They don't permit or inspect after an install. I assume that's the authorities your referring to. I would think that the insurance company would be happy to have an open wood burning fireplace converted to any insert regardless of pellet or wood.

Check with your building inspector and or the fire department.
In Canada, each province has its own rules, as do each city and town
Your insurance company will want to be notified because it is a
heating appliance, and they may have their own rules. If they do
not know about it, and you have a problem, they may not cover a
claim
