Hi everyone. I’m new with the pellet stove. I got a new harman p35i insert about 4 weeks ago. I have a 1800 square feet home. 3 rooms down stairs and 3 upstairs. I’m having a hard time keeping just the room where the stove is in warm. I have my stove set at feed rate 3.5 room temp at 77 and fan on high. My oil thermostat is about 15 feet away. I could never get it to read past 68 with my pellet stove. I’m going through about a bag and half a day of premium hard pellets. Am I doing something wrong?

How tight and insulated is your home ?

Is it a leaky house or have you tightened it up
Insulation ,new windows and doors or is it
as it was built in the 40 es ?

Do you have an outside air kit? You may be pulling the air into that room.

No I don’t have an outside air kit
The hot air is rising over the cold air you are sucking into the room. Install an OAK.
