Hey everybody, need some help here.

Today I put a new gasket around my door, 3/8" I own a Harman P68.

I think I need an okay job however as odd as this seems and I'm going to sound silly but the gasket touches in some places and in others you can actually see inside once the door is closed. It appears equally "plump" around the entire door and if I adjust the door closure then it only tightens on that side and the rest has a void.

I'm honestly thinking I need to put 1/2 inch but I'm uncertain.

Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks!

Did you by chance stretch it while inserting it into the grove? That would effectively make the rope smaller.

Like mentioned above stretching the cord will do this. I did this myself and had to redo it. It is easy to do.
