Can anyone help me out on what size wire disconnects I need for the Harman Accentra Insert Room Sensor? Is it AWG 22-18 fully insulated?

Hi Bee,

I have the Harman P35i Insert and my manual says to use a minimum of 18 gauge wire for the room sensor and to limit the distance from the stove to 25 feet or less. I used 16 gauge two conductor speaker wire and it works great. Remember, wire diameter increases as gauge size decreases (ie. 16 gauge is larger than 18 gauge, 22 gauge is smaller than 18 gauge).

Use the red size. You can get male and female.
