I have found a excellent deal on a Harman Exception floor model, $1,450 which includes gold door, firscreen and cooking grate.
I also found the TL-300 base unit selling for 2K.

I have seen some difference between the stoves
TL300 has 3 cu-ft box compared to the 2.6 of the Exception
TL300 has average 1.1 grams compared to 4.4
TL300 has a larger ash-pan
TL300 Easier to use door on ash pan

All of these differences aren't my issue but the following causes me concerns.

TL300 panel to access the combustion package?
TL300 has a firedome that can take 2x the temp of the exception?

Does the Exception have issues with its firedome, what causes me to question is why would it be re-manufactured to take 2x the heat of the exception and made a panel t oaccess the combustion package?

What are your opinions on these stoves?

Thanks..
