How can you tell when you have adjusted the damper correctly? I did mine about 2 weeks ago because the door would open on it’s own.after the stove heats up there is a lot more “slop” in it. All this started after the bolt snapped that holds the top access door to the handle Assy
Any thoughts or ideas?

I just purchased a new damper for my TL300. However the small holes to tie the brick clips are not threaded and I can not tie down the clips... Am I supposed to thread them myself or the damper I purchased is defective? Please help...
