How important is the low draft adjustment if your stove is running well with outside air?
Does the room sensor control the feed adjuster in any way?
What kind of test do you do to decide between room temp mode or stove temp mode?
What is the air flow pattern in the Harman XXV

If it aint broke, don't fix it

the closer you get to temp setting, the lower the feed rate will dial down. other than that, no.

Personal preference... if you want it dialing on and off, then room temp is your mode. If you like a steady, constant heat without it shutting off, the stove temp is for you.

What is the air flow pattern in the Harman XXV

Comes in thru air intake flapper in the back, then splits: most goes under burnpot to feed fire, some goes to the airwash.

What Summit said.... ;-)

+1...However, I WILL add that the feed rate setting is a governor
& the unit will not exceed that setting when the unit is told to crank out more heat...
