My stove will not light the pellets in the Automatic Ignition position. I started having problems a week ago where the stove was feeding pellets but would not light them. The stove will keep feeding pellets and eventually would be pushing the pellets into the ash pan. The system is in the Automatic position and the ignitor status light says it's on. I cleaned the stove and vent. I also installed new ignitor and checked the fuse. After turning on the stove for over 15 minutes then again after 25 minutes I felt the ignitor /combustion box and it was very warm but not hot. It seems like the ignitor is working but does not get hot enough to ignite the pellets. I'm at a loss at to what is going on. The stove works fine if I start it manually. I notice there is a lot of creosote on the back side of the ash pan door. Anyone got any ideas?

Have you cleared ALL the holes in the burnpot? If the Hot Air can get thru them, it won't ignite the pellets...

when is the last time you cleaned the venting and or the combustion blower?

I had an issue (with a very new stove) where the ignitor box was warm but not igniting. Sometimes (rarely) it actually would ignite, but very asymmetrically in the burnpot. It turned out that the ignitor was not correctly seated in its holding cradle.

After adjusting it, 2 years later I'm still going strong on the same old ignitor without any failures.

Have seen the ignitors installed back-asswards. Good thing to check.
