It would surely have a safety sensor or mechanism of some sort, and would only send a couple splits at a time down the chute. through maybe some type of gasketed spring or mechanically loaded door
Maybe have a dial or such like a pellet stove, 1 for mild nights, 5 for blazing hellfire LOL.
