Hi all,

I would like to replace my hearthstone craftsbury woodstove with a woodstock fireview and I think my current hearth pad is not big enough for the fireview.
I attached a picture of the current set-up. The hearth pad is 48.5" along the longest edges; for a corner installation, the woodstock installation manual requires the longest edges to be 60". I have a 12" gap of exposed carpet between my existing hearth pad and the walls. I would like to know if it's possible to build 2 rectangular hearth pads to fill this space and essentially extend the current hearth pad dimensions to the required 60".

I will try making a fireview mock-up on the existing pad and see if I can meet all the clearance requirements without the 60" pad length.

any/all advice is much appreciated. TIA for your help.

Greetings. The Fireview only needs 8" in front because it's a side loader. That's where you need the 16" clearance.
