Hi Folks,
I've been running a Drolet HT3000 in my basement for a number of years now with it sitting on concrete floor. However, I am going to be installing flooring throughout the basement and will need to create some type of non-compossible surface for it to sit on.
My goal is to have it sit flush with the new flooring that I will be installing - which is 4.5 mm thick. This is because it is near a walkway and I don't want to have people tripping on it.
According to the manual, the floor protection is only required to protect the floor from falling embers. The area is 44"x52".
Any ideas on what I could do, other than haul in a big piece of steel plate?
Thank you in advance!
