Is there any maintenance involved with the stainless air tubes.
Do they ever clog or need cleaning?
thanks doug

There's nothing in the manual about it. It wouldn't hurt to run a shop vac over the air holes. Since the air is moving "out of those little holes, it is unlikeliy that any fine ash would get "sucked in" and clog things up.

I run the shop vac head over all of the holes and also apply really hard suction on the doghouse hole since there is a chance that ash could fall in and plug this important orifice. Can't hurt to suck them out. I would not remove the tubes unless one had burned through. That would likely cause more harm than good.

thanks for the info,
doug
